The Oklahoma Highway Patrol is dedicated to protecting the lives and property of the people of Oklahoma.

The Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Unit of the Oklahoma Highway Patrol pursues public safety through the reduction of commercial vehicle collisions and criminal activity:

• By employing innovative and effective enforcement strategies based upon statistical data
• By focusing on problem-specific activities in the commercial vehicle industry
• By utilizing all available resources, including not only enforcement but also education

All state and federal laws and regulations pertaining to size, weight, driver, vehicle safety and hazardous materials are administered fairly and impartially focusing upon the ultimate goal of highway safety. This effort is approached as a partnership between state and federal enforcement, the trucking industry and the motoring public.
