Oklahoma Identification Card
A first-time Oklahoma identification card requires an approved primary and secondary forms of identification. If you are changing your name because of marriage, a copy of your marriage certificate is also required. Paperwork will be issued that may be taken to a local motor license agency where the Oklahoma identification card will be issued for a fee of $10.00.
To renew an Oklahoma identification card, present your current identification card and an approved secondary form of identification at your local motor license agency. If you are changing your name because of marriage, a copy of your marriage certificate is also required. The motor license agent will issue the Oklahoma identification card for a fee of $10.00.

- For both citizens and noncitizens, the name on the driver license or identification card must be same as the name on the document presented, unless the applicant also presents a court order of name change.
- Expired identification card?
To renew an expired identification card, go to any Driver License Exam Station or to one of these tag agents certified to accept state issued certified birth certificates ONLY. Tag agents cannot accept any other documents, including passports or immigration documents.
